Homeward Bound!!!

Here is the latest update from Lisa:

Rich will be discharged soon. I can’t wait to get him home! He is still in a lot of pain and sleeping most of time however it should be manageable with the meds. We are so thankful for all of the calls, cards, visits, flowers and most importantly the prayers! Wow-you are all so wonderful! Rich will be having another surgery on Monday at Mease Dunedin. My plan is to get him home this afternoon and right back to sleep. He has to rest for Mondays surgery. Radiation has been put off an extra week due to how invasive this weeks surgery was and Rich has to gain about 15 lbs before it can start.
So thankful to be taking him home. We are going to have some excited boys!

God keeps answering prayers!  Keep ’em coming while you continue to…

  1. After the initial heart-stopping scare resulting from the title “Homeward Bound” this a wonderfully encouraging update. In reflection, it should have been anyhow. In every instance, His will be done, right? Thanks Rich & Co for using the blog to keep everyone up-to-date. Praise God!

  2. Everyone is praying in one accord. Step by step, Rich, until your health is fully restored. Your faith and courage is inspirational – ABIDE and PRESS ON!!!!

  3. Rich – I was admittedly bewildered when I first heard of your battle. Then I remembered Romans 15:4 which reminded me of Job 1. Who can truly understand the mind of our Lord and His will? My heart is saddened for what He has allowed for you. You are a giant inspiration to me and many other brothers and sisters. My confidence, like yours is in Him. Press on my friend.

  4. “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,” declares the LORD (Jeremiah 30:17)

Rich & Family – We love you and will continue to pray for rapid healing and God’s wisdom, grace, mercy, and love in the midst of this challenging time.

As we discussed, please let me know if you would like a 2nd opinion / consultation with some of the oncology key opinion leaders that I know through Xcenda.

Hey Rich, I haven’t stopped praying or thinking about you. Thank you for being such an example to us all. Your friend, Darla

  6. Hi Rich and Family. Praying for God to restore your health and for supernatural strength to endure all the treatments you are going through. You are being held by God through all of this. I know He is giving you strength that surpases understanding and will continue to do so. In the love of our Saviour. Joyce Johnson
